L'excursion de deux jours était très instructive. Le premier jour, la visite de Teotihuacan était très bien organisée. Le déjeuner n'était pas inclus dans le prix mais l'endroit où nous avons déjeuné était une expérience authentique avec une nourriture décente. Notre guide francophone Gerson était très bien informé et aussi très drôle. Nous aurions seulement aimé qu'il parle un peu plus lentement et plus clairement car il était parfois très difficile de le comprendre et de comprendre ce qu'il disait. Le deuxième jour, nous avons fait une visite privée du musée national d'anthropologie et du centre historique de Mexico, y compris le musée Templo Mayor. Notre guide Emmanuel était absolument fantastique, très bien informé et parlant très bien. Nous recommandons vivement Emmanuel. Notre seul problème avec la visite du jour 2 était qu'il fallait marcher sans arrêt et rester debout de 9h00 à 14h00 sans même une pause pour déjeuner ou prendre un en-cas etc... Nous étions donc extrêmement fatigués et affamés à la fin de la visite. Nous étions donc extrêmement fatigués et affamés à la fin de l'excursion. Notre seule suggestion est donc d'inclure un déjeuner ou une période de repos avec de la nourriture et des boissons dans le jour 2 de l'excursion à Mexico. A part cela, c'est une très bonne excursion et nous recommandons de la suivre car elle permet d'apprendre beaucoup de choses sur l'histoire du Mexique en général et en particulier sur Teotihuacan, les civilisations maya et aztèque.

Day 1: Teotihuacan at Sunrise

Visit the stunning City of Gods, Teotihuacan, early in the morning before the tourist crowds start flooding in. Explore this renowned archeological site as you pass along plazas, murals, and old buildings while lending an ear to the mystical tales of this peculiar city!

Day 2: City Tour

Your tour begins at the National Museum of Anthropology. Learn about Mexico’s Mesoamerican culture as you walk past 22 permanent showrooms that boast artworks like the Stone of the Sun and the Coatlicue statue! Head next to the Historic Center of Mexico, where the Aztec empire was once seated. Learn about the Great Tenochtitlan from your guide as you look for traces that remain as evidence of its existence! Walk through the busy streets and notice iconic landmarks like the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, and the Palace of Fine Arts from the outside.

  • This tour involves a fair amount of walking. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear

  • Carry along an umbrella or raincoat during rainy seasons (May-Oct)

  • The archeological area of Teotihuacán is restricted and closes at 5:00 PM

  • Teotihuacán’s site is not wheelchair accessible
